1980 GL 4WD Wagon - US Ski Team Wagon


I bought this from a guy in Sun Valley Idaho, who had gotten it from his grandmother, who purchased it at a US Ski Team Auction.
I have been in contact with someone from the USSA, to try to find out any more details on this wagon, but have been unsuccessful. I will
provide you with all the documentation I have. The existing decals are cracked badly, which is expected since they are 24 years old,
and the vinyl was probably only meant to last for 8 years or so.

I am a Subaru Enthusiast, and have always loved the ski wagons. I really want this to go to someone who wants to continue the restoration of it
as no longer have the time to work on it, and my home improvements have to come first.

Overview

  • 110k on good running 1600 motor. cold blooded. likes to be warmed up.
  • Sing Range 4WD 4 speed transmission. Works great.
  • Good Tires on Wagon wheels (with wheel covers)
  • Yakima Roof Rack and Ski/SnowBoard rack with locks (one of the rack locks is in-operable)
  • Blue Interior. dash is cracked a bunch, but have new black carpet dash cover
  • All other interior trim pieces are good, including door panels.
  • Has some rust, but frame rails are good, no typical soft spots in floor pan. Worst part is the bottom of the doors.
  • Center lamp works, but no cover.
  • Has the stock slanted radio console (rare) with a AM/FM Cassette that was put in before I got it...
  • front seats have some bad spots, but have some nice covers over them right now.
  • Brakes work, but feels like front rotors are warped. I have a new set of rotors that goes with it.

    I have spent over $3500 on this project so far.
